These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of software products sold by Gauss DSP ("we," "us," or "our") at gaussdsp.com. By purchasing or downloading our software, you agree to these Terms.

1. License Grant

Upon purchase, Gauss DSP grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use the purchased software on up to three (3) computers that you own or control. This license is for personal or commercial use in music production and audio engineering.

2. Restrictions

• You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share your license with others.
• You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software.
• You may not remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the software.

3. Ownership

The software is licensed, not sold. Gauss DSP retains all intellectual property rights in the software, including all copies and derivative works.

4. Updates

Free updates are provided within the same major version (e.g., 1.x). Major version upgrades may be offered at a discounted upgrade price.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Gauss DSP does not warrant that the software will be error-free or operate without interruption.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gauss DSP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the software.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
